Missed Lesson Policy
My policy is that I do not allow make-up lessons for cancellations made by the student. Just like a dance class or team sport (which are not made up if missed) your tuition reserves your student's lesson time for the week with me. If a student cancels, then tuition is still owed in full for the normal amount of four lessons. If you are unable to make it to lessons (emergency, conflicts with schedules, etc.) please contact me and we can see if there is a possibility to trade times with another student's lesson for that week.Thank you for respecting these policies!
Practicing Policy
In my studio, the policy for practicing is 20-30 minutes per day of practicing for beginners, and 30-60 minutes per day of practicing for intermediate/early advanced students. Also, 5 days per week is the minimum weekly amount. Similarly to school, if you practice 5 days a week, you will be making progress and be able to pass off assignments consistently. Over the course of a semester, we will make significant progress, which is our goal!
Tuition
Monthly tuition is $140 for 30-minute lessons (four lessons)
$210 for 45-minute lessons (four lessons)
*Summer months we have 2-3 lessons per month
Recitals & Group Lessons
Recitals and Group Lessons, and recital preparation classes are charged the same as a lesson. Sometimes that will be the event for the week, and sometimes it will be in addition to a private lesson--it just depends on the month. Please be aware of what is noted on the calendar. We have 2 recitals a year, and a few group lessons a recital prep classes per year as well.
